Rules for the Skateboard Park


Woodbury Skate Park

Safety Rules and Regulations

 

 

·        Know your ability and skate responsibly.  The Town of Woodbury is not responsible for any injuries. 

 

·        This facility is for Woodbury Residents ONLY.

 

·        Park hours are from 8:00am until dusk, Monday to Saturday.  Closed on Sunday.

 

·        Skating is not permitted when surface is wet, frozen or closed.

 

·        Skate Park is for skating, rollerblading and biking only.  All other uses are prohibited.

 

·        Spectators are not permitted within the fenced skating area unless supervising small children.

 

·        Proper use of safety equipment (helmets, knee pads, elbow pads) is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!  In accordance with State of CT helmet laws, it is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that all skaters wear a helmet while riding in the park.

 

·        Graffiti, vandalism, the use of drugs, alcohol, tobacco products, or glass containers are not permitted.  Violators may be prosecuted.

 

·        No unauthorized pieces of equipment, obstacles or apparatus of any kind may be brought into the skate area.

 

·        There is no minimum age requirement; however, anyone under the age of 10 should be supervised by an adult. 

 

·        Personal property is the responsibility of the individual skater or spectator.

 

This is your park.  Enjoy it, use it wisely, and don’t abuse it.  Any problems should be reported by calling the Parks and Recreation Office at (203) 263-3113
