The Nonnewaug Flag Football youth program is for boys and girls ages 5-13. This program is offered by the Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department and is currently open to Woodbury and Bethlehem residents. Our program provides young players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in non-contact, continuous action while learning lessons in teamwork. The Nonnewaug Flag Football program teaches the fundamental skills children will need for future athletic programs while having a great time. The season runs from September to early November with 1-2 practices per week and one game on weekends.
Practices will be at least once a week per age group. Games will be Saturdays starting at 9am thru noon. Some teams will be home and some will be away (Oxford).
A $10 discount is offered for families with more than one sibling in Divisions 1 and/or 2. Please call 203-263-3113 to apply discount. Each child will receive a jersey, (1) mouthpiece and flags.
