Youth lining up a free throw.

The HotShot Contest is a recreational program designed to promote basketball enthusiasm as much as basketball skill, fun, physical fitness, friendship and good sportsmanship.  Each player will have one minute to shoot from ‘hotspots’ placed on one half of the court.  Starting at the center of half-court line, the player dribbles into shooting range.  Three one-minute rounds constitute the duration of play for each player.

Entrance fee of $5 payable at the door (Checks made out to "Town of Woodbury")

Registration form available online to bring with you (must have parent/guardian's signature)  Forms also available at the door but you must have a parent or guardian come in with you to sign the form.

The player with the highest number of points in their division will advance to the state championship!  The Statewide Contest will be held on Saturday, March 28th in Stratford, CT.  A birth certificate is required to confirm age and a copy must be submitted at the CRPA office before playing at the state level!
