BEGINNERS: Have you always wanted to ballroom dance the classics? This is your chance to learn the Waltz, Swing, Foxtrot, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Tango, Quickstep and more! Duarte & Amelia have extensive training and experience, having danced socially and competitively both American and International style ballroom and Latin. Grab a partner and come and enjoy this wonderful class! Learn a new skill, improve your health, make new friends, and step confidently on the dance floor -- even if you think you have two left feet! These classes fill up very quickly. Couples only.
INTERMEDIATE: In order to take this class you MUST be comfortable with the basic steps. The class is aimed at couples who have previously taken classes or have had some ballroom dance experience and wish to learn new and/or more challenging moves and improve their dance technique. In this regard, in addition to moves, some basic elements of technique will be taught. Couples only.
NOTE: On November 10th, the class will meet at Old Town Hall located at 5 Mountain Road in Woodbury.
